I began teaching first grade at Swayze Elementary in the fall of 2017.  This is my second year in Ouachita Parish. I am currently teaching first grade all content areas.

Prior to teaching in Ouachita Parish I taught for 23 years in Richland Parish. I began teaching in August 1994.  I have taught at Rayville Elementary, Delhi Elementary, and Holly Ridge Elementary.  Most of my teaching experience is in first grade but I have experience in second, third, fourth, P.E. 1-6 and reading facilitator.

I am no longer married but have one daughter who is 23 and currently attends Louisiana Tech in architecture. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and I live in the country outside of Rayville.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and attending sporting events such as baseball, basketball, and football games.
